With the noise i have a small vibrations. Do you think that gearbox bearing or rear differential can do vibrations ?

Thanks

But i hear a front noise and not really a rear noise... But i'm not really sure... Here many rx4 owners removed completely the rear differencial, they conserve a part of rear driveshaft behind rear wheels and they remove completely the rear differencial... Do you know this solution ?

Thanks

Well i think it is the differential. Can you change the oil inside the Differential?

I've already changed the oil of the rear differential

RX4-Salomon hat geschrieben:For my noise problem, i removed the propshaft and i still have noise between 90 and 110kms... Very strange this noise, it's not a metalic noise, it's like i have a problem with a wheel, but to eliminate the problem i replace my four wheels by anothers, but i still have the noise ??? So i think i have a problem with a bearing gearbox or with the differencial but it's hard to find the origin of this noise... Maybe you have an idea ?
Well when you removed the Propshaft and the noise is stille there, than it can't be the differencial.

Only the Gearbox or the propshafts to the Frontwheels can make the noise, or not?
